No Ordinary Love

What happens in the video

It is a widescreen animation of about a minute with sound. It opens on a city street, where a man in a dark suit and a woman in a red dress meet. Later he offers her a large bouquet of red flowers in a field of poppies, and the final shot shows many small figures arranged in the shape of a heart.

This is our own description of what we saw. The post itself contains only the title.

Why this kind of video works

The story is readable without words: meet, give flowers, end on a heart. One strong colour (red) runs through every scene, so the clip feels like a single piece even though the scenes change.

Romantic clips like this are easy to share on Valentine’s Day, anniversaries and birthdays, which is why we keep an eye on them.
